Dal libro di Marquez Cent'anni di Solitudine ho rimosso tutti i nomi dei personaggi, scegliendo per ciascuno di loro un filo colorato. Ho fatto così passare per tutto il libro i fili di tutti i personaggi nei fori corrispondenti di ognuno, in questo modo la trama e l'intrecciarsi delle loro vite sono diventate la rilegatura. I nomi ritagliati sono stati poi raggruppati in corolle di fiori il cui gambo è lo stesso filo colorato, diventando in questo modo una mappa sinottica dell'intero libro si potrà avere a colpo d'occhio l'importanza o la frequenza del personaggio all'interno del rommanzo in base alla dimensione del fiore.

I cut out all the names of the characters from Marquez’s book “One hundred years of solitude”, choosing for each one a different colored thread. Then I passed each thread in the holes corresponding to each name all the book through. In this way the plot and the crossing of their lives became the biding of the book. The names that have been cut out, they have been gathered together to form a corolla of flowers whose stalk is the colored thread itself. So doing the names became a synoptic table of the entire book that, according to the size of the flower, give us the importance of the character and the frequency of appearance of his name inside the novel.
