Tributo a Walt Whitman e le sue celebri Leaves.
Dal Canto di me stesso, il primo libro della raccolta Leaves of grass di Whitman ho prelevato tutte le virgole del testo e tutte le volte che nominava l’erba o si riveriva ad essa. Pensando alle virgole come foglie d’erba dei libri le ho sostituite nel libro a vere foglie d’erba. I fili d'erba cuciti descrivono così delle costellazioni all'interno del libro. Infine le virgole e le parole “erbose” rimosse sono state applicate sulla stampa fotografica.

Tribute to Walt Whitman and his famous “Leaves”. From “Song of myself”, the first book of poetry collection “Leaves of grass”, I cut out all the commas and all the words referring to grass and leaves. I considered the commas as the grass blades of the book and for this reason I replaced every comma with a grass blade. Consequently, the blades sawn together became a sort of constellation inside the book. Finally, I glued all the commas and the words referring to the grass on a poster size photo.
