Il lavoro è costituito: dall'intero libro di Virginia Woolf le Onde (in lingua originale) riempito con pennarelli indelebili in modo da lasciare bianchi solo gli occhielli delle lettere, e da un video che percorre una siepe in tutta la sua lunghezza da sinistra a destra come a volerla leggere ed esplorare. Questi due elementi assieme, il libro e la siepe, entrano così in relazione, gli occhielli bianchi delle lettere e le tracce di inchiostro richiamano la luce che attraversa i rami della siepe. L'oggetto vero e proprio cerca così l'atmosfera del contenuto del romanzo stesso, il quale nasce da una suggestione dell'autrice che voleva rappresentare “ una mente che pensa in mezzo a isole di luce – isole in un flusso di corrente. Prese nella corrente volano le falene.”

The work is made by: 1) the whole book “The Waves” by Virginia Woolf filled with indelible markers. The only things that remain white are the counter of letters. 2) a video that follows lengthwise the hedge from left to right as we would like to read it and explore it. These two elements together, the book and the hedge, are relate each other, the white buttonholes of the letters and the ink marks recall the light that goes through the branches of the hedge. The real object seeks the atmosphere of the novel itself, that is written thanks to a suggestion that the author wanted to recreate: “ A mind thinking. They might be islands of light - islands in the stream that I am trying to convey: life itself going on. The current of the moths flying strongly this way. ”
